This project is designed to stabilize eroding river banks, reduce sedimentation, and to improve fish habitat along the Pine River system on National Forest System lands in Alcona County, Michigan.

Location

The project is located along approximately ½ mile of the Pine River in Alcona County in T 25N, R 8E, Section 8, approximately four miles west of the village of Mikado, MI.
