Huron-Manistee National Forests Manistee, Michigan Cadillac/Manistee Ranger District

Stabilize banks at heavily eroded sites using a combination of rock, wood, and other native materials. Revegetate bare soils using native seeds and plants. Design and construct a low maintenance trail system that accesses the river.

Location

The Project Area is located along the south bank of the Manistee River in the first mile downstream of Tippy Dam.
