Loda Lake Wildflower Sanctuary Boardwalk Removal and Replacement Project

Huron-Manistee National Forests Newaygo, Michigan Baldwin/White Cloud Ranger District

Remove and replace the approximately 300 foot long wetlands boardwalk on the self-guided wildflower hiking trail in the existing location. The new boardwalk would be constructed of wood and have handrails and a viewing/resting area about mid-point.

Location

Loda Lake Wildflower Sanctuary, a 72-acre contiguous block of National Forest System lands, is located in north central Newaygo County in section 2 of Lincoln Twp and section 35 of Merrill Twp.
