The Forest has received an application from Michael and Nancy Wood for legal access, year-round use, and maintenance of an existing road. A special use permit would be issued to the Woods that provides long-term legal access across National Forest.

Use of two parts of the road would be authorized: SW1/4 SW1/4, Section 30 and SE1/4SW1/4, Section 31, Home Township (T16N R12W), Newaygo County.
