Wagner Island Project

Huron-Manistee National Forests Oscoda, Michigan Mio Ranger District

Eradicate oak wilt in Wagner and Island Lake campgrounds by salvaging infected trees and removing additional live oaks to prevent future oak wilt infection sites. Red pine less than 70 acres will also be thinned to improve growth for residual trees.
