Hill Lake ORV Damage Restoration Project

Huron-Manistee National Forests Lake, Michigan Baldwin/White Cloud Ranger District

Repair damage from illegal ORV use in the Hill Lake area by installing water bars, seeding and planting white pine and closing user-created trails and hill climbs using cedar fencing.

Location

The Hill Lake area can be accessed off of Oxtail Road and 64th Street, both operated and maintained by Lake County Road Commission. The project is in sections 9, 16, 17 and 20 of Lake Township.
