2019 Oak Wilt Treatments

Huron-Manistee National Forests Lake; Manistee; Wexford, Michigan Cadillac/Manistee Ranger District

Treat areas of oak wilt on National Forest System lands. Treatments may include: constructing temporary Root Graft Barriers that sever root grafts between infected and healthy oak trees and cutting live susceptible trees within root grafting area.

Location

Seven project areas: M-37 North, Forest Road 7393, 15 Mile Road, 7 Mile Road, Cooley Bridge DOT, Backwaters River Road, and Blacksmith Bayou campground.
