Cadillac-Manistee Wildlife Openings Project

Huron-Manistee National Forests Lake; Manistee; Mason; Wexford, Michigan Cadillac/Manistee Ranger District

250 openings totaling 2,700 acres of wildlife habitat will be improved by; manual/mechanical brushing; felling/girdling encroaching trees; mowing; developing water sources; nesting/roosting boxes; and seeding, planting, and pruning of native plants.
