This helicopter is used to assist firefighters in wildfire suppression actions, and to provide aviation support to hazardous fuels projects, and other resource projects on the Forest.
Location
The Mark Twain National Forest Helibase Development Project is located on the Houston/Rolla/Cedar Creek Ranger District on the west side of Highway 63 in Phelps County, Missouri.
