Redboat Resource Management Project

Ottawa National Forest Gogebic, Michigan Bessemer Ranger District

The project includes timber management, enhancement to wildlife, fisheries, and riparian habitat, recreation and transportation system improvements. This project proposes to clearcut some areas that would exceed 40 acres in size to regenerate aspen.

Location

Southwest corner of the Bessemer Ranger District and west of the city of Marenisco, Michigan.
