This project will implement Forest Plan Objectives for aspen. We propose to clear cut approximately 1700 acres of aspen each year for 10-20 years, up to 30,000 acres. Road maintenance and reconstruction will also be proposed, as needed.
Location
The project area includes aspen stands covering approximately 30,000 acres of National Forest System (NFS) lands within management areas 1.1a, 3.1a, 4.1a, and 4.2a.
