O Kun de Kun Trail Project

Ottawa National Forest Ontonagon, Michigan Ontonagon Ranger District

This Trail segment is part of the North Country Hiking Trail. It is in need of reconstruction in some areas to improve trail surface, rutting and ponding issues. A segment of trail will be rerouted and a foot bridge placed to avoid a step area.

Location

The O Kun de Kun waterfall trailhead is located on the east side of M45, approximately 8 miles north of Bruce Crossing. The trail runs approximately 1.3 miles to the East to the Baltimore River and O Kun de Kun waterfall.
