The Ottawa National Forest is proposing management on approximately 19,400 acres of National Forest System lands. Proposed activities address vegetation management, habitat improvement, hazardous fuels, system roads, and recreation.

The project area is located on the Bessemer Ranger District in Gogebic County, Michigan. The project area includes 19,800 acres; of which 19,400 acres are National Forest System lands.
