East Branch Ontonagon Pilings Removal Project

There are remnant pilings within the East Branch Ontonagon River causing aquatic organism passage issues. This project will remove the pilings and restore the river to its natural state.

Location

These can be located in T47N, R37W Section 11, Houghton County. The pilings are located in Kenton, MI, approximately 50 feet south (or upstream) of where the East Branch Ontonagon River flows under the East M-28 bridge.
