Superior National Forest Lake, Minnesota Kawishiwi Ranger District

Re-route portions of the Tomahawk Snowmobile Trail onto unplowed system roads. Decommission some snowmobile bridges. Designate non-motorized winter routes for skiers and dogsledders.

Location

The project is located in Lake County in a corridor of land beginning near Farm Lake, extending to the Tomahawk Road (FR 377) and bordered to the south by State Hwy 1 and the BWCAW to the north.
