Superior National Forest St. Louis, Minnesota LaCroix Ranger District

The LaCroix Ranger District proposes to create young forest, promote existing white pine regeneration, enhance scenic quality, reduce hazardous fuels, manage forest roads, and conduct vegetation management through harvest, non-harvest, and planting.

Location

Activities would be located on NFS lands in portions of the Pelican Project Area which is bounded by state Hwy 53 on the west, county Hwy 23 on the south, and the Vermilion River on part of the east
