Past erosion control methods have been unsuccessful. There is a section of rocky shoreline to the east of the current portage that would provide a more stable canoe landing. This re-route will require approximately 300 feet of boardwalk in Wilderness
Location
Bower Trout Lake is accessed via forest road 152H off of forest road 152 (Lima Grade). From the entry point parking lot visitors travel a 60 road portage to access Bower Trout Lake.
