The Shokoshoe Project proposes to manage vegetation and roads to promote diverse, productive, and healthy ecosystems and wildlife habitat, reduce hazardous fuels and provide sustainable forest products.

Location

This project is approximately 20 miles north of Grand Marais. It encompasses the Mid Gunflint Trail on the east side, and borders the Grand Portage Reservation from the west side
