The Laurentian Ranger District proposes activities to move vegetation and wildlife habitat toward desired conditions as described in the Forest Plan by managing vegetation with prescribed fire, harvesting, and other mechanical means.

Beaver River is located in the southeast corner of the Superior National Forest, approximately 9 miles northwest of Silver Bay, MN.
