The goal of this restoration project is to convert stands, particularly dense spruce plantations, to more ecologically appropriate forest types through natural regeneration and/or planting.

Location

The project is generally located in the southern portion of Gunflint District in Cook County between the Caribou Trail (CC4) and Highway 14 (CC14)
