Ibeck Creek Riparian Revegetation

Chugach National Forest Valdez-Cordova, Alaska Cordova Ranger District

We propose to plant alder, Sitka spruce, and other native plants to revegetate areas along Ibeck Creek where angler foot traffic has damaged riparian vegetation. This will help to stabilize eroding banks. No instream work will be conducted.

Location

Ibeck Creek, 7 miles ESE of Cordova, AK. North of the Copper River Highway on both banks of the creek for approximately 1 mile upstream.
