Stream Gauge Installation at Tern Lake

Chugach National Forest Kenai Peninsula, Alaska Seward Ranger District

Stream gauge equipment to be installed at Tern Lake Picnic Area salmon viewing platform. The gauge will collect hydrology data to support reservation of water applications to protect the lake level and instream flow.

Location

Tern Lake Picnic Area at Tern Lake Junction at MP37 Seward Highway (off of Sterling Highway). Gage to be affixed to the east side of the salmon viewing platform at 60.5305.15, -149.556771
