The Alaska Railroad is proposing to install an avalanche radar detector that would monitor and detect movement for the Door 4 avalanche path above the Alaska Railroad and the Portage Highway.
Location
The radar detection site will be installed in Portage, near the Portage Sewage Lagoon near the BBVC.
