Kake Bake Creek Stream Restoration

Tongass National Forest Wrangell-Petersburg, Alaska Petersburg Ranger District

Restore instream habitat by placing 10-15 LW structures into Kake Bake Cr. Logs sourced from nearby standing and/or thinned downed wood in adjacent young-growth and may be within RMA stream buffers. Work will occur on 0.2 mi of stream.

Location

Kake Bake Cr is located approx 14 miles south of Kake, AK along FS road 45001 at MP 0.64 on Kupreanof Island. Restoration site begins immediately upstream of the rd crossing.
