Naha Trail Reconstruction

Tongass National Forest Ketchikan Gateway, Alaska Ketchikan Misty Fjords Ranger District

Reconstruct the first mile of trail to improve drainage, reduce long-term maintenance costs, and provide a level area for camping near the trailhead. Unserviceable boardwalk will be replaced with gravel. Open stone drains and culverts may be used.

Location

The section of trail to be worked on follows the north edge of a saltwater lagoon about 15 miles north of Ketchikan, AK.
