Precommercially thin formerly harvested timber units. This action will decrease the number of trees/acre, and decrease competition and stress to residual trees while promoting the growing stock into better quality timber for future harvesting.
Location
This project contains 700 acres of harvested timber lands from the N Fire Cove Timber Sale.
