Tongass National Forest Prince of Wales-Outer, Alaska Thorne Bay Ranger District

Day use areas at Luck Lake and Sarkar Lake are in need of repairs, updates and improvements. The Alaska Forest Highway Program has provided funds to accomplish improvement projects at these sites.

Location

Sarkar Lake Day Use is located at approximately 48 miles from Craig, AK on Forest Road 20. Luck Lake Day Use is located about 5 miles from Coffman Cove on the 3030 road.
