Tongass National Forest Prince of Wales-Outer, Alaska Thorne Bay Ranger District

Manage roughly 1,500 acres of young-growth for multiple resource objectives and harvest an estimated 75 acres of old-growth, to meet Forest Plan objectives and assist in the transition to a young-growth industry.

Location

SW Kosciusko Island with an eastern boundary from Holbrook Arm NW to a point just east of the Shipley Bay Log Transfer Facility, following the LUD II Boundary.
