Angoon-Mitchell Bay Ecotourism Environmental Assessment (formerly Outfitter and Guide EA)

Tongass National Forest Juneau, Alaska Admiralty Island National Monument

We aim to strike a balance between subsistence use resources, wilderness resources, tourism, and the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA), Section 506 (a)(3)(E). We propose allocating 2388 service days to outfitters and guides.

Location

The project includes all National Forest System lands within the village of Angoon and Mitchell, Kanalku and Favorite Bays.
