East Ohmer Creek Restoration

Tongass National Forest Wrangell-Petersburg, Alaska Petersburg Ranger District

Propose instream and floodplain restoration on approximately 0.2 mile of East Ohmer Ck and 0.4 mile of Lumpy Ck, one of its tributaries. Construct wood structures for pool creation and cover. Perform maintenance on currently excavated rearing ponds.

Location

Project area is on Mitkof Is, which is situated between the mainland and Kupreanof Is, approx 140 miles south of Juneau, Alaska. East Ohmer Creek is approx. 21 mi south of Petersburg along Mitkof Hwy.
