Mitchell Creek Fishpass Replacement

Tongass National Forest Wrangell-Petersburg, Alaska Petersburg Ranger District

Demolish the existing concrete and wood fishpass with dynamite and remove debris. Using a hand crew, construct a new pool and weir fishpass with the same design and footprint.

Location

The Mitchell Creek Fishpass is on Kupreanof Island about 3.1 miles upstream from the mouth of Mitchell Creek. It is accessible from the Tonka Road system.
