Nemo Saltwater Access Trail Realignment

Tongass National Forest Wrangell-Petersburg, Alaska Wrangell Ranger District

WRD proposes to decommission the existing gravel path along the road that is between the parking area and the boardwalk trail and replace it with a trail that leads directly from the parking lot to the existing boardwalk trail.

Location

The trail is located on Wrangell Island. From Wrangell, drive 14 mile south on Zimovia Highway. Turn right on Forest Road 6267 (Nemo-Skip Loop Road). Trailhead is at MP 5.2
