The Forest Service requested 4,560 acres of National Forest System lands near the Mendenhall Glacier be withdrawn from mineral exploration and development. An EA will be prepared to inform the Secretary of Interior's decision.

Location

Adjacent to Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area and withdrawal area from Public Land Order 829.
