East Ohmer Restoration Source Tree Supplements

Tongass National Forest Wrangell-Petersburg, Alaska Petersburg Ranger District

Harvest a total of 30 trees with rootwads attached from 2 sites along National Forest System rds on Mitkof Island to supplement wood requirements described in the East Ohmer Stream Restoration EA. All but 1 tree are hemlock between 17" and 39" DBH.

Location

Two sites on Woodpecker road system - Site #1 is at Mile Post 3 on National Forest System road 6245. Site #2 is also on the Woodpecker Cove road system on NFS road 40006.
