Propose issuance of free use and small sale mineral material permits for up to 1,000 tons (approx 700 cubic yds), with stipulations, from expansion of an existing (1 acre) borrow pit along NFS road 6256 of the Thomas Bay road system for 10 years.

Location

The borrow pit is approximately 2.9 miles southeast of the Thomas Bay log transfer facility (LTF) along National Forest System road 6256.
