The proposed project would authorize commercial salvage timber harvest of dead or downed trees resulting from natural causes, and timber harvest where salvage harvest and/or green tree harvest is compatible with the Land Use Designations (LUDs).
Location
Prince of Wales Island and the surrounding islands within these two ranger districts. This includes Kosciusko, Heceta, and Suemez islands as well as the smaller islands within these two districts.
