Proposal to reroute the steep Gavan Hill section of the Harbor Mountain/Gavan Hill trail (1.5 miles) to a more gradual gradient (2.1 miles). The rerouted section will be primarily gravel with pre-formed concrete steps.
Location
The Harbor Mountain/Gavan Trail is on Baranof Island just outside of the City of Sitka.
