Propose to construct a public use cabin at Highbush Lake on Wrangell Island. This cabin would replace the proposed decommission of the Anan Lake Cabin with another lake setting cabin to meet the intent of the Tongass Sustainable Cabin Strategy.
Location
The cabin would be constructed on Wrangell Island at the Highbush Lake Trailhead parking area, accessed by FS road 50040, approximately 29 miles SE of the City of Wrangell.
