The USDA Forest Service proposes to treat up to approximately 20,000 acres of young-growth conifer stands. Stands proposed for treatment have been identified across Prince of Wales Island and on the Suemez, Heceta, Marble, and Orr outer islands.

Location

Stands proposed for treatment have been identified across Prince of Wales Island, and four outer islands (Heceta, Marble, Orr and Suemez), originating from harvests between 1980 to 2004.
