Proposal for an updated/alternative source of instream wood for the Skanaxheen Creek Restoration project. Includes harvesting about 200 young-growth trees adjacent to NFS road 6402 and 3 closed spur roads on Kuiu Island near Shorty Creek.

Location

Rowan Bay Watershed on Kuiu Island approximately 5 miles from Forest Service administrative site in Rowan Bay.
