Rainbow Falls Trail Reconstruction

Tongass National Forest Wrangell-Petersburg, Alaska Wrangell Ranger District

Reconstruct the first 2 miles of the Rainbow Falls Trail, from Zimovia Hwy to Shoemaker Overlook spur trail (convert from boardwalk to an aggregate and stone surface). Plans also include viewing platforms.

Location

The Rainbow Falls Trailhead is 4.5 miles south of the community of Wrangell accessed by the Zimovia Highway.
