Shaded fuel breaks extending 500 feet to either side of centerline, roads 42N30, 42N31, 42N43, 42N49, and 42N51. Disrupt progress of wildfire in Warner Mts. 15-25 ft spacing between conifer driplines; restore pine; masticate brush; pile, burn.

Replace 2013 Devil's Garden Plateau Wild Horse Territory Management Plan (DGWHTMP) with new TMP based on recent law, monitoring data, and changed environmental conditions. Finalize Territory boundary, including Middle Section.

Increase habitat quality for mule deer, etc. Improve forest resilience to natural disturbances including wildfire. Reduce chance of catastrophic wildfire. Increase ability to control wildfires that may occur. Protect energy infrastructure.

The proposed action would reauthorize the existing Egg Lake allotment grazing permit and maintain current management based on management in compliance with the permit and in accordance with the goals and objectives laid out in the Forest Plan.

Modoc Nation partnership to maintain/restore sage-steppe grassland wildlife habitat, reduce risk of high severity fire by hand-cutting encroaching juniper, reduce fuels in ponderosa pine stands, use regenerative grazing to control juniper and NNIS.

Thinning, fuels treatments, reforestation, aspen enhancement, wet meadow restoration, fuel breaks, plantation maintenance, wildlife habitat improvement, and whitebark pine restoration.

Reauthorize grazing on Mud Lake, Timber Mtn, Glass Mtn and Refuge 1-N (Refuge) allotments. 3 alternatives: 1) No action (stay vacant), 2) Reauthorize domestic sheep grazing (preferred), or 3) Authorize both cattle and sheep.

Golden State Natural Resources/Modoc NF partnership to improve forest health by removing excess fuels from Modoc NF, Big Valley and Doublehead RD plantations to avert large destructive wildfires.
