A 400-mile-long high voltage direct current power line project, starting in eastern MT and ending in central ND, crossing approximately 10 miles of the Dakota Prairie Grasslands southwest of Dickinson, ND. This is a Department of Energy led project, FS, BLM, USDA-ARS are cooperating agencies.
