Laramie River Channel Resiliency Project

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland Larimer, Colorado Canyon Lakes Ranger District

Severe burn damage in the basin feeding this section of the Laramie River has contributed to water quality degradation. Project proposes to construct several structures to capture sediment, and planting Willow stakes to improve riparian vegetation.

Location

Laramie River, 1.75 and 3.1 miles downstream of the outlet of Chambers Lake, 3.9- and 5.3-miles North of CO 14 along CR 103. Access directly off CR 103.
