The South Gore Vegetation Management Project is designed as a response to the Mountain Pine Beetle (MPB) epidemic and has been proposed to increase the pace of restoration and resiliency of National Forest System lands.
Location
The project area is located on the Yampa Ranger District in Routt and Grand Counties, Colorado along Hwy 134, also known as Gore Pass.
