South Fork Little Colorado River Habitat Restoration

Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests Apache, Arizona Springerville Ranger District

AZGFD and Trout Unlimited, in conjunction with the ASNFs, are proposing to implement a stream/aquatic habitat restoration project on the South Fork Little Colorado River to improve morphological and ecological diversity within the stream corridor for the benefit of Apache Trout and other species.

Location

Approximately 2 miles upstream from the NFS boundary on the South Fork Little Colorado River. Approximate location of the proposed project area: Latitude: 34.048728; Longitude: -109.389626.
