The project area is at the Upper and Lower Goose Lakes and the Ashley Twin Lakes, accessed via Forest Service Road (FSR) 027 off the west end of the Red Cloud Loop Scenic Backway (FSR 018; Red Cloud Loop) on the Vernal Ranger District in Uintah County, Utah.
