The Richfield RD plans to apply prescribed fire to approx. 99,460 acres to mimic natural disturbance on the landscape to reduce the risk of uncharacteristic wildfires, increase health/resilience of vegetation, and improve wildlife habitat
Location
The project area is east of Salina, Utah and includes the Gooseberry, Salina Creek, and Willow Creek areas.
