The Fremont River Ranger District is proposing to install one well each on the Seven Mile and UM Allotments and up to two wells on the Tidwell Allotment to increase the reliability and availability of water for livestock and wildlife.

The Beaver Ranger District is proposing to make minor range improvements, including fence construction and water system expansion.

The Fremont River Ranger District is proposing to relocate a planned equestrian trailhead to a more suitable location to avoid user conflict and address safety concerns identified and upgrade a temporary structure to a permanent buidling for a visitor center.

The Fremont River Ranger District is proposing actions to restore riparian areas and aquatic habitat through in-stream habitat structures, installing fencing, planting riparian wood species, and replacing or installing stream crossing structures to improve aquatic organism passage.

This proposal is in response to Verizon Wireless' application for a special use permit to construct, operate, and maintain a communication tower on National Forest System lands in Sevier County, Utah, on Mytoge Mountain to provide service around the Fish Lake Basin.

The Forest is proposing the construction of a flood detention basin and a conveyance channel at the mouth of Flat Canyon. Flood flows that enter the Sevier Valley and canals may result in overtop or breach, threatening loss of life and property.

The Fremont River Ranger District is proposing to bring tree densities, forest structure, and species composition closer to desired conditions through prescribed fire with some hand/mechanical cutting to facilitate burns and improve habitats.

The Beaver Ranger District is analyzing the potential effects of authorizing an extension to a mineral exploration project. The proponent is requesting to extend a trail to two new mining claims which they will explore at six new drill pads.

The Fremont River RD proposes vegetation treatments to protect aquatic watersheds and soil productivity; increase resiliency to insects, disease, and uncharacteristic fire; and improve vegetative conditions for wildlife habitat by using an improvement cut to reduce large conifers in the stand.

The Fishlake National Forest proposes to consent to lease (with stipulations) through the BLM, three parcels for geothermal resources. The three lease parcels encompass NFS lands open to fluid mineral leasing.

The Richfield RD plans to apply prescribed fire to approx. 99,460 acres to mimic natural disturbance on the landscape to reduce the risk of uncharacteristic wildfires, increase health/resilience of vegetation, and improve wildlife habitat

Install three water troughs and approximately two miles of pipe which would be plumbed into the existing Ebbs Spring Pipeline. The new pipeline and water troughs would help improve the distribution of livestock and wildlife grazing.

The Richfield Ranger District is proposing aerial and ground seeding of moderate and high burn severity areas (approximately 28,000 acres) using mainly native plant species to restore and maintain the burned sites' ecological functions and services.

The FNF plans to install 13 guzzlers across the forest.

The Beaver Ranger District is proposing to improve and expand parking lots along SR 153 in Beaver Canyon, grooming winter routes, increasing size class of some OHV trails, and improving SR 153 from Puffer Lake parking area to Timid Springs.

The Beaver Ranger District is conducting analysis of a mineral exploration project proposed by DT Mining, LLC near Alunite Ridge on the Tushar Mountain Range. Project activities include up to 18 drill pads and about 6 miles of road improvements.

The Fishlake National Forest is preparing an EIS to evaluate and disclose the potential environmental effects from proposing to authorize livestock grazing on the Dry Lake, Forshea, Kingston, Koosharem, Manning Creek, and Rock Springs Allotments.

The Forest Service is considering amending its land management plans to address new and evolving issues arising since implementing sage-grouse plans in 2015. This project is in cooperation with the USDI Bureau of Land Management.

Construction of research study plots approximately 31' x 31' in size within the 10 Mile Allotment. The plots will look at mountain mahogany and sage brush vegetation types. The research study will cover approximate 0.10 acres.

The Richfield Ranger District has proposed the construction of a monitoring exclosure within Manning Creek Allotment to better understand the impacts of grazing by wildlife, livestock, and the combination of both. The study will cover approx.2 acres.
