Hazardous fuels reduction using hand thinning, cutting, piling, lop/scatter, prescribed fire (pile & understory), and restoration in wildland fire footprints by seed collection, hand planting, and seeding of native trees and plants.
Location
The analysis area for this project encompasses approx. 12,117 acres of NFS land within the developed areas on the eastside of the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area.
